2. Lifetime Warranty Registration

2. Lifetime Warranty Registration

We offer a lifetime warranty on all DAKOZO suitcases against manufacturing and material defects.

To activate the lifetime warranty, the suitcase must be registered within 30 days of purchase.

If the suitcase is not registered within 30 days, a standard 2-year warranty will apply.

The lifetime warranty applies only to the original owner and begins on the purchase date.

3. What the Warranty Covers

3. What the Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers functional defects during normal use, including:

• Wheels that stop functioning due to a defect

• Handles or telescopic systems that fail

• Zippers that malfunction due to a material or manufacturing defect

• Structural failure of the polycarbonate shell

• Internal components that no longer operate as intended

Repair First, Replacement Second

If a warranty-covered defect occurs, we will always first attempt to repair the suitcase, as this is the most sustainable and effective solution.

If repair is not possible, or if the repair does not restore normal function, we may offer:

• a replacement suitcase, or

• a fair alternative solution, depending on availability.

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

To remain fair and protect against misuse, the warranty does not cover:

• Scratches, scuffs or cosmetic wear from normal use

• Airline or transport handler damage

• Misuse, inappropriate handling or excessive force

• Impact damage (drops, crushing, improper lifting)

• Modifications or repairs not performed by DAKOZO

• Warranty claims without proof of purchase

• Lost or stolen items

• Normal wear of consumable parts (wheels, zippers, handles) unless proven defective

Airline damage should always be reported directly to the airline, as they are usually insured for such cases.
