Shipping & Delivery
It typically takes 1–3 business days.
Your Dakozo will leave our warehouse in The Netherlands within 24 hours after your order is placed. You will receive an email with a Track & Trace link from our shipping provider to check for updates and track your order.
We will always do our best to ensure your Dakozo reaches you as quickly as possible.
Dakozo's warehouse is located in the Netherlands. Based on our previous orders, estimated delivery times are:
• The Netherlands, Belgium & Germany: 1–2 business days.
• France, Spain & most EU destinations: 2–4 business days.
• United Kingdom: 3–4 business days.
• US & other international destinations: 3–5 business days.
We recommend keeping an eye on your tracking link for the most accurate delivery updates.
Via the Track & Trace link. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse in the Netherlands, we will send you an email with the Track & Trace link so you can follow your Dakozo delivery every step of the way.
Yes, we ship worldwide. If you have trouble placing your order online, please reach out to us. We are happy to assist with placing your order manually.
Lock & Set Up
Setup in 6 steps
1. If the number combination isn't 0-0-0, set the number combination to 0-0-0.
2. Remove the zippers from the lock by sliding the button with "TSA007" to the side.
3. Press the small button between the numbers and the zipper with the tip of a pen. This button now remains pressed.
4. Set your own numerical code. Remember it well.
5. Press the button with "TSA007" again until you hear a click. The small button shoots up again.
6. Test the new code by entering your own invented number combination.

Oops... but no worries, it happens.
• No panic, start by trying combinations. A common first try is 001.
• Work through the codes in order if needed (000 → 001 → 002 …). With 1,000 possible combinations, it may be a little boring, but it is often the most effective solution.
If you are travelling, airline staff or airport security is also able to assist as they have a special key to open our TSA locks.

Care & Usage
Yes our small suitcases meet the hand luggage requirements of almost all airlines, including KLM, Air France, British Airways, and EasyJet. We recommend always double-checking with the airline you are flying with, as rules may vary or sometimes be stricter.
Storage: store your Dakozo in its protective cover to keep it dust free and maintain its colour.
Cleaning: remove dust, dirt or light marks with a soft damp cloth or magic eraser. For tougher spots, a small amount of mild soap can help.
What to avoid: avoid abrasive cleaners, rough sponges, strong chemicals, window cleaners, petroleum based products, or nail polish remover, as these may damage the finish of your suitcase.
Suitcases are made to travel, and over time may develop deeper dents or scratches. Some travellers embrace it, others prefer a cleaner look. Clean marks early or cover them with our cool Dakozo stickers, either way, your suitcase tells your story.
Large Dakozos includes a sturdier protection cover, as check-in luggage often faces tougher journeys than cabin luggage, while the small Dakozo comes with a lighter cover, both are ideal for keeping your suitcase dust free at home.
Suitcases are made to travel, and some marks and scratches are part of the journey. In the travel world, this is called patina. Some travellers love it, others prefer to keep their suitcase looking fresh, so we included covers for you, just in case.
Warranty & Repair
Every Dakozo suitcase is backed by a lifetime warranty for functional damage during normal use. If a component fails or something breaks that should not break, we will take care of it.
The warranty does not cover normal signs of travel such as scratches, dents, cosmetic wear, or patina. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, rough handling, or third parties including airlines is also not covered.
If you experience a warranty issue, we first try to repair or replace the affected component, or the entire suitcase if needed. In most cases, shipping costs are covered too. Simply keep your proof of purchase, such as your receipt or invoice.
Recent Questions
Its a type of plastic, but not your average plastic. It is one of the strongest materials used in luxury luggage. Dakozos are made from Makrolon® polycarbonate, top notch German stuff. Lightweight, strong, and built to take a hit. It costs more than many standard alternatives, but quality starts with materials.
It is lightweight, exceptionally strong, and slightly flexible, helping the shell absorb impacts and bounce back instead of cracking.
Cool fact: polycarbonate is also used in SWAT shields and bullet resistant glass. Suddenly that whole “flexes instead of cracks” thing makes a lot more sense, right?
