The number 8 monogram reflects DAKOZO’s design philosophy, with inspiration of the symbol meaning of balance and luck.

It is the only number that remains symmetrical when divided. Its smooth curves can be found in many details of our suitcases

Just like a Formula One car that uses Michelin for its tires, Ferrari for its engine and Akrapovič for its exhaust technology, a DAKOZO suitcase is a curated assembly of best-in-class parts working together in harmony.

The result is a unique travel companion built with the expertise of multiple world class producers combined into one seamless design.

As a small and independent company, small batch production is one of our greatest strengths. We are not guided by investor pressure or volume driven targets. Our focus is simple. Create high quality, modern and cool luggage that brings something genuinely fresh to the market.

What sets DAKOZO apart is our direct access to the world’s best component suppliers. There are no middlemen. We personally select every part from shells to wheels to zippers to ensure full control over performance and longevity.

Production takes place in our own premium workshop where the founder, known as Mr Kozo, is physically present to oversee and guide the assembly. All colours are custom and developed in house in limited quantities and every batch is intentionally small to maintain the highest standard.
